This general conditions define the relationship between the chartering client and Pecumedia GmbH Div.Charterpartner acting as charteragency.

Responsibility for contents
Pecumedia GmbH/Div.Charterpartner tries to maintain high levels for acquisition and maintenance of the provided informations. However, Pecumedia can and does not take liability for correctness, completeness, delays or exactness or availability of the provided informations, bases, boats or all other contents.
Pecumedia GmbH/Div.Charterpartner did not verify all informations and the underlying documents.

Contractual partners
All contracts are legal subject between the Chartercompany or offering local chartercompany/agent and the partners of each contract are reliable directly to the other party for fullfillment and completion of contractual liabilities and obligations.
Pecumedia GmbH/Div.Charterpartner is agent only and not party of all arranged contracts, and all contracts are done in the name and on the behalf of the chartercompanies. Contents and informations can be obsolete caused by current change of situations (locally or in general), and it is not guaranteed, that presented contents and informations are on latest updated level.

Charterfees are always the plain rental costs of the chosen boat and include local taxes like VAT/IVA
It is usual in the charterbusiness, to collect obligatory extra charges (e.g. a obligatory and crew-sensitive local Transitlog) together with optional chosen extras at boarding. The items are indicated on each boat´s detail-page description and furthermore printed on bottom of the page 1 (invoice) of each chartercontract.

Payment of charterfees
Immediately after returning the charterfee by fax to Pecumedia GmbH Div.Charterpartner, the first payment is due to be transferred.Further payments are mentioned in the charter-invoice page 1. The payment must arrive without any deductions latest at the given date on the bankaccount of Pecumedia GmbH. All bankcharges are on client´s expenses, and must be replaced.
Pecumedia GmbH Div.Charterpartner collects the charterpayments and forwards them on time to the contractual chartercompany, which is responsible for all deliverances and executions about the booked yacht and equipments.

Form of payment
The payment must be transferred by bank transfer to the bank account of Pecumedia GmbH Div.Charterpartner as indicated on page 1 of the chartercontract (=invoice).
Credit Cards, MAESTRO,private or traveller cheques are not accepted for charterpayments.

Credit Card acceptance at base
Nearly all chartercompanies accept credit card payment of the deposit. They do not accept credit cards for paying ordered extras, local charges or missed charterfees. Deposit by Traveller´s cheques is usually not possible.

Late payment
Boarding and handover of the yacht is possible only, when all payments arrived at least on the bank account of Pecumedia GmbH Div.Charterpartner.com, this is confirmed in written form to the chartercompany and the chartercompany accepts that.
The chartercompany is entitled at any time to refuse from handover of the boat, until the payment is not in his hands or covered by a cash- or another validated creditcard payment. All bankcharges and costs of deposit are on client´s expense.
